The staff and students of the middle school had the distinct priviledge of taking part in Career Day 2016. The morning began with keynote speaker, Dr. Lonny Rivera, who is the Director of Innovation at North Point Educational Service Center, who spoke to the staff and students in grades 6-8 on how important it is to focus on career and life goals for jobs of our ever-changing global world. Our 20 speakers were stationed in various classrooms to share their job experiences and responsibilities to focus on skills required for a diverse array of industries and occupations. Students in grades 6-8 had a tour schedule to follow. Following the last session, speakers enjoyed lunch hosted by our Parents Club.
There were many people who gave their time and attention on this fanonminal project. We thank them all for making this a huge success.
