Today’s Trivia Question: If you checked the time on Big Ben, in which country would you be in?

 

The lunch menu for today is chicken fries with sauce and a roll or salad bar or deli selection, Au Gratin potatoes, tossed salad with chickpeas, assorted fruit, and milk.


Girl Scout Troop 60225 is seeking donations for Back To The Wild.  Some of the items they are collecting are Dawn, Windex, Freezer Bags, Paper Towels and money.  Money donations are to be handed in to the main office. Collection boxes are in the Science Rooms.


Penny Wars runs through Monday, April 24.  It is a battle between the grades 6-8.   Silver coins like nickels, dimes, quarters, half dollars, dollar coins and paper dollar bills all subtract, while pennies will add. The grade that has the most amount will be rewarded with a “make your own sundae” event.  

There will be a cheer clinic run by former Edison High School cheerleaders held here in the middle school gym from 1-4 on Sunday, May 7th. The clinic will be open to any current 4th-7th grade girl.No skill is required: just be ready to have fun and cheer along! Any girl interested in attending may fill out the registration packet and return it to her homeroom teacher by April 28. Extra forms are in the office.  

 

Any current 6th or 7th grade student who is interested in trying out for football and/or basketball cheerleading for next year may sign up during lunch today.  More information will be forthcoming.  

 

There will be a basketball meeting in the cafeteria today at 2:30 for any 8th grade girl planning to play basketball at EHS next year.

 

Future Track Athletes: Please don’t forget The Charger mini track meet forms are to be turned in tomorrow, April 21.  Extra forms are in the main office. If there are any questions contact the high school athletic office.
 

The answer for today’s trivia question is that Big Ben the clock is located in England.
